At the end of the day, I’m one of the greatest fighters on the planet.

I’ve seen my dad practice and, trust me, when you are 6 years old and you see that, it stays with you. My dad was a coach who taught the judo fighters and they would be throwing up because they would be so tired from working.

I treat people and I deal with my fighters and I deal with the fans like a real person. I don’t come out and read canned statements written by our lawyers.

Is there any hungry fighters out there that say they don’t get paid enough by the UFC? I tell you what: Cowboy‘s got the answer. Sign on the line. I don’t care where you’re at on the roster. Let’s go.

Exciting fighters put on exciting fights, and that’s what fans want to see.

Every fight, I try to get out there and set an example to show the rest of the world we have fighters from Australia, and we’re for real, and we’re here to stay.

I think sometimes the fighters aren’t very clear on things, and even myself, I’m a fighter, a lot of fighters make mistakes about working their image and how they market themselves.

Albanians are a nation of freedom fighters who know something about living under oppression.

As astronauts know better than anyone else, risks, incidents, and mishaps are inevitable in the development of any high-performance vehicle. The emergence of supersonic flight during the 1940s and of the Century Series of fighters in the 1950s came with the loss of several test pilots. Still, it was a glorious time.

Whether they’re in uniform today or retired, I’ll fight to make it easier for our fire fighters and their families to earn a good living with dignity on the job, affordable health care, and a secure retirement.

All of my fighters should get down on their knees and thank me for what I’ve done for them.

Without a doubt Jon Jones is one of the greatest fighters in history, and, of course, we do see errors that we’ll try to exploit.

I’ve always said the thing about MMA that a lot of fighters don’t understand is people care more about the story, about why a fight’s happening, than the actual fight.

All great legends and all Hall of Fame fighters have their storylines.

You see a lot of fighters who just got into the UFC getting a lot more recognition than the people who have been in there.

Some guys are gym fighters, some guys are better in the ring.

I’ve done things, from the Olympics to defeating two of the greatest fighters of all time.

I just want to be able to say I fought the best fighters in the world.

One can construct a strong legal and ethical argument for minimizing the fees that are paid to world sanctioning organizations in conjunction with championship bouts. It’s not uncommon for skilled fighters to be denied championship opportunities while less-talented but better-connected boxers fight for belts.

Too many fighters stay in the game for too long. They stay because it’s awfully hard to walk away from the roar of the crowd. Really hard. You live for that and so you stay too long. And you might have a wife and kids to feed. So you keep fighting because you don’t know how to do anything else.

I see some fighters lose very badly, but still they get more praise or they’re not overrated. They’re just good fighters in a lot of people’s eyes. But I feel like one loss with King Mo, it made me a very bad fighter somehow.

All those guys wanna be us. All the fighters wanna be in professional wrestling; I don’t care what they say.

This sport is crazy, it moves along and we all have a short memory. No one realizes when fighters are out. They just remember their last fight and how they look now.

There are a lot of fighters with no family support, but your family are honest with you. Look at the types who were around Mike Tyson. They are not going to tell you when you are wrong; they’ll just call you the champ.

There are two different kinds of spectacular fighters. One is a subtle counter puncher who shows the work like chess. It’s kind of an art, sports art. The other kind is when a guy has blood on all his body. That’s a second kind of spectacular fighter, and people enjoy both. Both kind of fighters need to be respected.

I know that UFC doesn’t have the best fighters, especially in the lighter weight classes.

I wish MMA was like boxing with fighters from different organizations being able to fight each other. It would be more interesting for the sport, the sport would grow more, everyone would be able to fight everyone.

All these other heavyweights are great challenges for me. But they have had their time – and I need to be 100 per cent ready for these fighters – but I don’t fear any of them.

There’s a difference between world-class fighters and club fighters. It’s similar to the distinction between a Grammy Award nominee and a guy who sings in Holiday Inn cocktail lounges.

The fighters and the fights are what makes UFC great.

I don’t know how much the other fighters make. But I need to tell you that, for myself, money is not the first consideration.

Footwork isn’t something you hear people talk about too much but it’s something as fighters we have to be able to utilize.

I think I’m pretty marketable when it comes to marketing fighters ’cause I’ve met a lot of ’em, and they’re not that interesting. They don’t do too many things, or their days are not like my days.

I don’t know what other fighters do, but when I get hit and go down, I smile and I say, ‘I’m going to hit you harder than you hit me, and I’m going to knock you out.’ The times I go down and get back up – that’s when I’m the most dangerous.

As long as we have enough fighters and fight cards to keep everybody fighting three times a year, that’s where I want our roster to be.

There are great legends and great fighters in the history of Mexico, and there will be more to come.

I will fight for affordable housing for teachers, police, fire fighters, and families in all our neighborhoods.

In society, it’s hard for some to view women getting hit. They see the women as different figures rather than as athletes and fighters.

I’ve got a really good job commentating and watching great fighters fight ringside.

There’s never been a weak South African or Australian team. They are fighters.

I’m not Ben Askren or a lot of these fighters. I’ve never called a reporter like, hey, I want to be on your show, book me, you know?

A lot of the fighters will say you’ll know if a fighter’s won or lost just by a fighter’s eyes – whether they’re scared of the other person.

It’s hard to just go one day from another to being one of the best fighters in the world to just stop doing what you love to do.

I play guitar; you’ll find me at home strumming ‘Vincent’ on the guitar. I also read a lot of poetry, and Shakespeare was my first love, which was why I got into acting. A lot of the fighters are intelligent!

Dave Legeno
Muhammad could take a very good punch. He was slick, he could move, he could hit, make you miss, good hand speed and combinations and one of the greatest fighters of all time in my opinion.

When people first started watching UFC, it seemed like a no-holds barred event… early on it looked like all the fighters were crazy. Actually, there are a lot of techniques, and the reality shows have let people see the fighters behind the scenes.

Randy Couture
There’s no national strategy to deal with combating terrorism and foreign fighters.

There are not many heavyweight fighters to come by, so having so many sparring partners is a big luxury a lot of other fighters don’t have.

Flying Colors is more alternative pop with a prog edge. Think the Beatles meets U2 meets Muse and Foo Fighters. It is the opposite of Adrenaline Mob, which has more classic metal influences like Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Pantera, or Disturbed. They are completely different ends of spectrum.

Every company that wants to sponsor a fighter in the UFC has to pay a sponsor tax to get inside the Octagon, and that’s why many fighters in the UFC struggle to get sponsors. In Bellator, we don’t have that.

Maybe when I’m done fighting, I’ll open a gym and manage fighters and train fighters.

You test yourself. That’s what real fighters do.

You know how some fighters retire but you have a feeling they will be back at some point? I don’t get that feeling from Chad Mendes.

The reason I like Olympic boxing is that all the best fighters come together and find out who the best fighter is.

The cool thing about pro wrestling is we do a lot more acting as far as characters in general than MMA. I know a lot of people like the MMA fighters because they like the rugged look.

I’m sure there are talented Arab fighters out there waiting to be discovered.

Most professional fighters, male and female, hold day jobs, but the women’s game attracts a wide social spectrum: hash slingers, teachers, police officers, landscapers, stuntwomen. Many are wives and mothers. Their husbands or boyfriends work their corners, or hide in arena restrooms, scared to watch their bouts.

Considering fighters are usually going to want to fight the best, they need to be protected from themselves. That’s where management should come in.

People call us heroes, but we are nothing compared to our police force and fire fighters and everybody who protects us and makes sure our freedom is held to the highest standard.

I’m proud to be one of only a few fighters in history to retire undefeated.

After the Ronda fight, I wasn’t sure what the UFC held for me. I think coming out of that fight, I didn’t know if losing that fight meant that I could get cut because I knew the rumors at the time was how easily fighters could get cut from the UFC.

I know the UFC’s a big organization, the best athletes and fighters are here, so… every third or fourth month, I’m ready to fight.

I’ve won junior titles, ABA titles and boxed for England all over the world against future Olympic champions as an amateur – and then beat world-class fighters as a professional.

I give all the credit to God, he’s the one who keeps me healthy and I’m just doing what I’m doing. I love this sport. When I got into it I loved it and I’ve loved it since I was a young child. I’m one of those fighters that just really loved to fight and I embraced it.

Speaking on all of it in general, I think we, as MMA fighters, should be getting paid just as well as the NBA players, the NFL players and Major League Baseball, hockey as well, I’m not trying to skip any sport as I don’t think any sport is superior to the other.

Boxing should focus on pitting champion versus champion – those are the fights that everyone wants to see. The sports also needs to work on developing new heroes and personalities. I’d like to see more vignettes on fighters, focusing on their lives, goals and stories. Boxers need to be larger than life.

I’ve seen so many fighters getting knocked out.

It’s amazing to be a Puerto Rican fighter; we have a great history of fighters.

Shawn Porter is a good fighter, but he hasn’t accomplished nearly as much as Danny Garcia has accomplished or beat the fighters who he has beat.

I’m over here with the French counterterrorism experts talking about the ‘Charlie Hebdo’ case, how we can stop foreign fighters from coming out of Iraq and Syria to Europe, but then we have this phenomenon in the United States where they can be activated by the Internet, and, really, terrorism has gone viral.

Very few fighters get a chance to come back.

How many fighters are going to be able to leave the legacy that I did? Nineteen years old, I came and I conquered.
