There’s no point in making predictions. It’s not worth speculating because nothing is set in stone and things change all the time in football. Today there are opportunities that no one knows if they will come round again in the future.

Sometimes it’s nice when you go out on the road, and you come back, and your girlfriend’s left you. You have complete freedom at that point.

I had a tryout when I was, like, 19 and totally not prepared. I was 170 pounds with homemade gear. At that point, I realized how far I had to go to even get looked at. Then, when I was 22 or 23, I was much more prepared, and that second tryout went way better.

I was never that much a focus of interest that I became a ‘thing’ at an earlier point in my career. I’m aware of having become a ‘thing’ now, which doesn’t give me a lot of pleasure.

Be kind, don’t judge, and have respect for others. If we can all do this, the world would be a better place. The point is to teach this to the next generation.

I lost my innocence with Johnny Cash. I used to watch the ‘Johnny Cash Show’ on television in Wangaratta when I was about 9 or 10 years old. At that stage I had really no idea about rock n’ roll. I watched him, and from that point I saw that music could be an evil thing – a beautiful, evil thing.

Judy Parfitt
I’m at a point where there isn’t any wasted movement in the throwing motion. Everything is consistent and smooth. When I first got into the league, I held the ball really high. That was the standard in college, and it messed up my timing a little bit – the draw, bringing it back, then the release.

If people have got a problem with me, say it to me. If you’re going to hurt my feelings, I’m going to point you out.

They pushed my limits quite often – once every day, I think! I think that played a big role in my breaking point being bigger than most players. Not all players.

It just seemed like Buddhism, especially Tibetan Buddhism – because that’s mainly what I’ve been exposed to – was a real solid organization of teachings to point someone in the right direction. Some real well thought out stuff. But I don’t know, like, every last detail about Buddhism.

Corporate America doesn’t really have an interest in Formula One because there is nothing American in it at this point. It is European and all made by Europeans. Until that changes, the interest isn’t going to be at the level it needs to be.
